Hey there! I'm Alex!

A little about me. 14+ years a photographer (since high school), 8+ years a cinematographer, and 30+ years of being a friendly face to new people. I grew up in the Fresno area, spent ten years in Santa Barbara breaking into the wedding industry, and have been based in San Diego since 2019.At this point, it’s been hundreds of weddings and thousands of amazing people. I offer both photography and cinematography throughout Southern California but destination weddings definitely remain my favorite. 

My style is guided but never forced I’ll give as much direction as you’d like or I can blend into the background capturing all of the candids you didn’t know I was getting.  

My biggest pitch to potential clients is that I specialize in people that are “awkward” because no matter the camera shyness I have always been able to get a number of amazing photos showcasing your best authentic self. 

My goal is always the same, to give you moments captured that actually feels like you.

I am also fluent in Spanish (my parents are from Mexico), and I’m really good at managing big crowds while keeping things fun and comfortable.
